Back in Black beaten by Welcome to the Jungle. Do U Agree?

I just finished watching VH1 top 100 rock songs of all time. Back in Black came in at #2 which was cool. But they were beaten out by Guns n Roses Welcome to the Jungle. My bro said that in a way he agrees because that toon helped bring back rock in the 80's. Though I agree that this song deserves to be in the top 10, I don't agree to it being #1. Especially the idea of Guns n Roses beating out ACDC. What do you all think?

yeah i also agree, I think Back in Black should have been number 1, Guns N Roses are a great band, but AC/DC are way better! Back in black was the song that most bands started to play when rehearsing or foolin around. The first riff that Kurt Cobain learned was Back In Black! Guns N Roses even played Whole Lotta Rosie live during one of their live gigs!
AC/DC should be number 1!!

I've seen this countdown a bunch of times and I still get annoyed at the order of these two songs. I like GNR a lot, but Back In Black is and should be #1. There's no riff like that on any song, it's simply classic and deserves to be at the top of the list!

I stopped watching those guys years ago. I do watch VH1 classic when good ole fashion rock and/or metal is on, like with this show I watched. I still can't believe G&R beat them out. Bro told me this show was based on a people's choice vote. These people are *@!holes. If ACDC were beat out by Zeppelin I could at least live with it. Not this injustice to the rock gods.

Oh don't get me started on the Rolling Stone thing. That just ticked me off that it took so long for them to get a cover. Most critics are, like you said Struck, idiots! AC/DC rules!!!

AC/DC definatley should have gotten number 1!! Back in Black is the most classic Rock song ever.
Angus is a million times better a guitarist than Slash.
I mean, I like Guns N Roses, but AC/DC are the BEST band on the planet and can NEVER be beaten by ANYONE:)

Hay Highway, you're right. They've always kept to their roots with rock n roll. When Bon passed on the band could've gone a different way. But they didn't. They kept true to themselves by finding Brian who was able to keep the sound going without being a Bon wannabe. The critics are fools. They, along with the people who voted for G&R, don't know good rock n roll if it came up behind them and bit em on the ass.

haha your so right LadySwan!!! and yes they could have easily went another way when BON (R.I.P.) passed away.But they truly love rock n roll music thats why they have stuck to there roots unlike so many!!! ROCK ON!!!
