Listen mate, cheers 4 that but I had saw your site B4. Anyway if you look at my pics carefully, you'll see that every last one of these boots are the real deal, genuine silver pressed, factory pressed CD's and in some cases the officially released CD-R's which took me a long time to build up and cost me a pretty penny. I also have a massive bootleg LP collection. I am still collecting LP's & CD's but only the originals - no copies or CD-R's unless this was how they where officially released say like a lot of the latest boot CD's, especially the Japanese boot CD's of late. If you have any original's, either CD or LP for sale then please yes, I'm definately interested but only if there are the originals. I already get a lot of my stuff from the main AC/DC boot guys around, like Cyril in France, Dan in the states of whom I'm actually a platnium member of his record label - Xerocks, which incedentially cost me a lot of money just to join, so I would class myself as a pretty serious collector.
Thank you anyway for replying to me and let me know if you have anything you think I maybe interested in.
PS I have absolutely nothing against copies/CD-R's of gigs/albums as the DC are a great group, it's just that I myself prefer to collect the originals, that's all. Once again, thank you very much.
Neil.

Hi ! Marvelous collection indeed ! I'm myself a heavily DCaddict... and I own quite a nice collection of vinyls and CDs. Unfortunately my thirst or hunger for concerts (silver CD or vinyl prefered) is not yet quenched. I'm looking for :
Back In Rhythm live '96,
Only The Strong Survive 2 CD
Live in dirty Meadows '91
AC/DC Live '91 (Hell's bells with nude cover) 1 CD
No Noise Reduction 1 CD
Alternating Current
The Studio breakers
Paris is burning

The first two CDs listed are my priority. Do you have some copies for sale ?

Thanks in advance.

Sébastien, from France.

Hey Sébastien, thank you for the nice comments. Sorry my friend but everything I own, I have just the one copy of and I have everything you've mentioned except "Live in dirty Meadows '91", I haven't heard of this one. Is it a genuine CD or a CD-R do you know? I have the CD "Dirty Dees at Irvine Meadows" which is probably the same gig, just a different CD. I'll tell you what I can do for you. I'll put you in contact with a good "bootleg" friend of mine. His name is STEPHAN DUJARDIN and his email is apro36@yahoo.fr and I know for certain that he has the "Only The Strong Survive 2 CD" for sale along with plent of other CD's and vinyls. Tell him that Neil from Ireland gave you his email and he should send you a full list of all his items for sale. One thing though is that he is French and his English is not too good but he should be able to understand you. If you have any trouble then just get back in contact with me. My own email is mctek@eircom.net

Good luck.

Neil

Thanks mate !

Your advice is most precious all the more so as I already know Stephan Dujardin from Belgium. I'm often in business with him. I already know Dan Johnson who you must know also... An odd ebayer seems to have surfaced also, selling odd bootlegs, unfortunately limited to few copies (fuck speculation !) which make each of his boots extremely hard-to-find-and-buy items. He's from Argentinia. Have you got any piece of information about him ? Thanks for your tips. I owe you one as we say !

Sébastien.

Well I've finally got hold what's known as THE RAREST AC/DC OFFICIAL BOOTLEG FACTORY PRESSED SILVER CD........... "DIRTY WATER" - now my ultimate pride and joy - I am over the moon as I have never ever come across this CD anywhere for sale and could not believe my luck when I finally did come across this copy, in perfect condition, might I add. Anyway here are the pics of it for you to look at.....

As you probably know this show is available as Boston Tea Party (Vol 1 & 2 vinyl + CD) with near-perfect sound from a re-broadcast. Does Dirty Water sound as good as BTP? Those last 2 tracks are also on Fault Lines & Fine Wines (2LP) with perfect sound straight from the "KSAN reels."

I just had to chime in after seeing your images and realizing I had the same performances on vinyl. So are you familiar with the boots I mentioned above? If so, how does the sound on Dirty Water compare? Congratulations by the way on the acquisition of this rare CD!

Hey John,
Thanks for that and sorry for taking so long in replying to you. Anyway yes I am familiar with boots you've mentioned as I have them both and yes, it's as good a sound for a live recording - boot CD - as you will get. I absolutely love this CD. Of all the boot CD's released this has got to be one of the best "sounding" there isbut also one of the rarest so yeah, if you can get your hands on a copy then grab it ASAP not only for it's rarity but because it's a great music CD.

I am interested in AC/DC bootlegs from the Bon Scott era and I am interested in collecting what is available. Preferably complete concerts. I see from your post and photos that you have quite a collection.

Hey Ron, thanks for that my friend. Actually I've got loads more CD's & LP's since I last updated this site so if I can help you in anyway then please don't hesitate in contacting me. Most people think that collecting music is all about rare LP's but that's seriously not the case . With the advent of the whole "download" era, CD's have become very collectible and can fetch serious money. Unbelieveably, CD-R's have also become highly collectable but you really have to know what your looking for because with the very nature of CD-R's, they are so easily copied and sold as the "original" "real deal" and unless you know what you're looking for, it can be very hard to tell the difference. The Japanese CD-R's are the ones to look out for. Anyway Ron as I said if you need my help in any way the just let me know and I'll do my best for ya.
Neil.
